Only two blocks from Whittaker Street, you’ll feel like a local in this centrally located cottage tucked onto a quiet, well-established street surrounded by trees. You will enjoy a private escape while still being close to all the action in downtown New Buffalo.

Pool is 15 feet x 30 feet and ranges from 3.5 feet to 6 feet deep, Open from May to October.
Walk into the main living space which is filled with natural light courtesy of the bay windows and original, refinished hardwood floors. The oversized sectional is a perfect place to unwind with a smart TV and streaming capabilities and the library under the stairs has tons of books and games for you to enjoy.
The fully-equipped cottage-style full kitchen has new Corian countertops & stainless-steel appliances. Just off the kitchen, the spacious dining room seats 8 and is the perfect place for dining and playing board games. The home also features a main level Queen bedroom and full bathroom for easy access.
Head upstairs where you’ll find two more large bedrooms including a large bedroom with 4 twins and a spacious queen suite with bathroom access. The home features high-speed WiFi and 4 TVs where you can stream your favorites using your own log in accounts.

Parking
There is parallel parking in front of the retreat for three cars maximum. Please do not park in the grass.
Coffee Makers
There is a Keurig coffee maker and a drip coffee maker in the kitchen.
Pool information
The heated, private pool is 15 feet x 30 feet and ranges from 3.5 feet to 6 feet deep. It has a splash pad, a lounging pad and 4 corner seats. It is open from May to October, we will post precise dates in the property description. The pool is set between 80 and 85 degrees and cannot be changed.
Hot tub
Private hot tub, professionally serviced and open all year! We do ask that you close the hot tub at 10:00 PM nightly due to local quiet time and neighbors.
Grilling and chilling
There is a propane grill on the back patio, we supply the propane
Fire pit
There is a gas fire pit with gas auto-start next to the patio. Turn the knob and press the starter for 15 - 30 seconds to light.
Trash and recycling
Trash day is Wednesday morning, recycling every other Wednesday. The regular can has a black lid and the recycling can has a blue lid.
Beach access
The New Buffalo Public Beach is only 6/10 of a mile away, drive, walk or ride bikes. Head southwest on Merchant, then take right on Whittaker and it will take you straight to the beach!
Television
There are four TVs; one in each of the three bedrooms and in in the living room. They all have streaming services but you will need to use your own log ins
