You and your dog can both enjoy the dunes and area hiking trails at the following locations and more! Most of our area trails are pet-friendly, but not all - so be sure to check before heading out!
Warren Dunes
Ready to tire your dog out? Take them hiking at Warren Dunes State park! Not only are there miles of trails for you to explore, there is a dog-friendly beach to check out! *Tip: The sand gets HOT so be careful with paw pads on hot days.
Chikaming Open Lands
With more than a dozen nature preserves in the area, the trails maintained by Chikaming Open Lands are all pet friendly for leashed dogs. Turtle Creek Preserve is a favorite.
Grand Mere State Park
Just down the road from Warren Dunes, Grand Mere State Park offers tons of pet friendly trails! Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach!
