Pack your bags for a peaceful retreat in this cute and cozy bungalow nestled in Paradise Villas of Union Pier. The neighborhood is only a short walk of 950 feet to the huge, sandy McKinley Beach, which is a local neighborhood beach with no parking. You'll find the home set back off the road through an antique iron gate and then to the right in a vintage Union Pier Vacation community.

This well-lit, two bedroom home sleeps 4 guests in 2 comfortable queen beds.  There is a pull out sofa that can accomodate 2 additional guests as well. The main living spairs is airy and bright with sky lights where you can view the stars above the home.

The fully stocked kitchen has a full-sized fridge, electric oven and range, microwave, and drip coffee maker.  All serveware and stemware is stocked and ready for you to use. The appliances are newer and the space hsa everything you need to prepare a meal in the home. Just off the kitchen is a full capacity LG washer/dryer and several laundry pods are included in your rental. The full bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and features a tub/shower unit and single sink.

You also have full access to a private deck with an outdoor dining table and chairs. Just off the front porch of the home is another wooden deck with a screened in patio and outdoor sofas and chairs. 

Looking to grill? There is a new gas grill available for your use and in the shed you will find beach chairs and umbrellas for you to use at the beach. There is also a cart to help you get your goodies to the beach path. The beach itself is literally right around the corner from the house, less than 1000 feet away and it has a gradual path that leads to 45 stairs, which is a low amount in our area. The beach is huge as we write this in 2024 and seems to be one of the beaches that avoid seasonal fluctuation more than beaches to the south.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far away is the beach? 
McKinley Beach is a 5 minute walk away from the home, less than 1000 feet away. To get to the beach, simply walk north on Lakeshore and take a left on McKinley, you will see the beach entrance right away. You can also cut through Paradise Villas and walk north on Lake Ave to get to McKinley.

Parking?
Firm maximum of two cars please. You will be pulling up to an entrance with a few parking spots and the name Paradise Villas on the sign.  You can park there and you can also park across the street, on the grass, where the church parking is allowed.  You can park there and will not be ticketed / towed.  This home should not have more than 2 cars parked in the common parking area.

Is there a Grill at the home? 
There is a new propane grill at the house as of Summer 2023.

Is there a fire pit?
There is no fire pit at this home.
