Bridget Court Pool House is one of two homes tucked away on a quiet side cul de sac on the beach side of Red Arrow Highway and a stone's throw away from downtown Union Pier where you can grab some coffee from Black Currant or sandwich from Milda's.  You also have a nice walk along the new bike / walking path on Red Arrow Highway and will get you over to Red Arrow Roadhouse or Whistle Stop.

One of the great perks of this home is that you can choose between the brand new pool (installed in 2024) or the beach! McKinley Beach in Union Pier is only 1,500 feet away and is one of the best beaches in our area as it seems to avoid fluctuating in size along with the water level in the lake. There is a gradual path that leads halfway down to the beach then 45 stairs, with a couple rest spots along the way. The Center Avenue beach is about 2000 feet way and is also a great beach with somewhat easy access. 

This 4 bedroom home is newly constructed with an open concept main area with a primary en suite bedroom on the main floor.  There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, including a second primary bedroom with king bed and ensuite bath!  There is also a spacious queen bedroom, and a room for the kids to sleep and enjoy as their own space - inlcuding streamable where they can chill and stay out of the grown-ups hair.

The back of the house is perfect for relaxation. The back screened-in porch is nearly the length of the home and has space for eating, lounging, watching TV, board games, and ample space for all! There is one home to the right of you but this is a quiet street where kids could play, bike, etc, and not have to worry about street traffic.

Once Spring 2024 rolls around, you will be able to sit on the porch and watch the kids splash away in the new 30 x 14 inground pool. Construction starts in October 2023 and will be done in plenty of time for summer fun in 2024.  Update 2.1.24:  the pool is in and fully functional.  Once we get past winter months, only items needed to be complete are some leveling of the ground around it and some landscaping from the construction.  The pool is in!

In the meantime, you will be able to enjoy the hot tub right off the enclosed porch.  The home is walking distance to either Townline Beach or McKinley Beach as well as all the shops of the area. This central location in Harbor Country is just a short drive to New Buffalo or up along the coast to Sawyer and St. Joe.

Parking
There is parking for two cars in the driveway. There are also spots along the roadside, in the grass across Lakeshore Rd from the house. Please don't block the gate that you will see there.

How far is the home from the beach?
The closest beach is the neighborhood beach at the end of McKinley, just 2/10 of a mile north on Lakeshore and then take a left on McKinley.

Is firewood included? 
You can have firewood delivered to the home through Third Coast for a $25 delivery fee + the cost of Wood at $8 a bundle ( 8 - 10 logs per bundle). You can also purchase it by the bundle at multiple places in the area.

Is the backyard fenced in?
Yes, the left side of the property off the porch and the entire back of the property is fenced in for peace of mind with smaller kids and/or pets. We still recommend that you keep your dog on a leash in case a squirrel runs by.

Parking
There is parking for 4 cars in the driveway. Please don't park on the street.

Pool
Open from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Monday for certain. The pool will reopen prior to Memorial Day weekend in 2025 and be open through Labor Day weekend at minimum.

Beach access
The closest beach access is the Center Ave Beach, just 4/10 of a mile - please click here for a map. The McKinley Beach is also super close, here is another map. There is no parking at either beach so they are for this neighborhood's residents and guests only.
