A Happy Place is a lovely 4 bedroom home just a short walk from a private, association beach in the Michigan Shores Country Club neighborhood of New Buffalo.
This two story home is located on a private lot with a quiet creek running behind it. A Happy Place lives up to its name with plenty to keep your group smiling. Just 1/4 mile from private beachfront access, the home has a golf cart for you to use to get to and from the beach. The home features two stories, a private hot tub, tons of board games, beach access, and is close to a historic, 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, a playground and more!
Walk through the door into the large, open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The Kitchen features stainless steel appliances, cookware, serveware, and a large island with bar stool seating. The cozy family room has a wood-burning fireplace and plenty of room to relax and watch a movie. Off the dining area is a screened-in porch with a second dining space, perfect for enjoying a meal or a game of cards on a warm summer night.
When it’s time to turn in, the home features 4 comfortable bedrooms for your group to enjoy. The primary suite features a King bed, en suite bathroom, and private access to the deck which overlooks the creek. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed, the third bedroom features two twin beds. The bunk room is perfect for the kids, or a large group of friends and has two sets of bunk beds. The second floor also features an attached TV room and the lower level has indoor shuffleboard, a poker table, board games and more.

How far is the beach?
The Michigan Shores Country Club private neighborhood beach called Sunset Beach is very close to the home, just 2/10 of a mile. You do need to walk up the hill on a quiet, tree lined street. A Happy Place has a golf cart for you to use, making beach access a breeze! Please note - this is an unassuming beach, there are no country club facilities.
Parking
There is room for four cars in the driveway. The street in front isn't very wide so please make sure to stay in the driveway.
Pets
Up to 2 reasonably sized non-aggressive dogs are allowed at the house. No cats ever, sorry.
